Out today on Manchester's Decaying Spheres, 'Rest Assured' contains 10 tracks of Sangam signature style
Pensive, brooding, dystopian, heart-wrenching, rain-soaked, hopeful, just a few ways to describe the feels that permeate a Sangam release.
I'll be honest, there are very few artists that have me booting up bandcamp or spotify quicker when a new release of theirs drops but Sangam is definitely one of those.
Fresh off the back of his and Irrelevant's collaborative release 'Drown In Grey' (out now on Absolute Loss btw!), 'Rest Assured' is the latest long player from the man that just cannot stop producing stunning electronic music.
The LP is 10 tracks of his signature delicate yet powerful dreampunk style, set across 40 mins and 53 seconds. Not only is it time well spent, but in todays climate of stress, worry and uncertainty, pockets of ambient bliss like this are hard to come by, so for this listener at least, it also acts as an audio salve to soothe ones ills.
As is an absolute necessity with Sangam's music, a cassette version is also available alongside the usual digital and streaming versions.
Take a listen via the Decaying Spheres bandcamp below, and don't sleep on this, rest assured - it is worth your time!
