Stasis Peak is an album that I'd consider to be more closely tied with my emotions than the self titled release, and just a little more than Contempt For Death. It's been influenced at times by feelings of loss, greif and loneliness, and at others by hope, stillness and positivity.
The title can reference a place where we keep certain memories that are frozen, seldom recalled, but are nontheless powerful. Ones that we might honour from afar, and that shape who we are in the moment, for good or ill.
This record is a culmination of a few years work, with the majority of that time spent alone with my thoughts... Suffice it to say, I'm not the same person I was when I started it!
